Nikon Prostaff Or Bushnell Legend What Scope To Put On My Winchester Model 70 .308?

What scope to put on my Winchester Model 70 .308? - nikon prostaff or bushnell legend

Hello. I got this Winchester Model 70 308 rifle as a gift and I know nothing about it. I know the history of the model 70 and so on, but I do not know what he was years and the price could taste it. Weaver scope on it and want to get rid of him. I went to the beach, there are a couple of days to reach. (I have tried tricks with scale and without) I am looking for up to $ 100 - $ 200 to spend on a decent level and I heard him with the Prostaff Nikon, Bushnell Legend, and others like Simmons, Vista Tech Barks and Alpine. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you very much

Paul

PS, the 40mm Nikon Prostaff BDC reticle with a 3x9 is $ 159 and the legend of the expansion Bushnell with $ 139

Nikon Prostaff scope is very good for the 308th I had one of my Remington Model 742 .30-06, until I sold the gun. Then mount the same level of my .22-250 Savage Model 12FLV. I gave him back to the room to my cousin and her father in his .30-06 Remington. If I was, and who has in the two guns that was going to zero. My cousin just paid $ 150 for the same thing that you mention.

I am also interested in the Leupold VX-1 VX-2 and Sagittarius ... Everyone in the 3-9x40mm. Areas very nice. Leupold areas have guaranteed lifetime. Now I have a Leupold Rifleman 3-mounted 9x40mm on my .22-250, hoping to upgrade VX-3. I had a Winchester Model 70 7mm mounted with Leupold VX-1. Primo is a VX-2 mounted on a Ruger, 204 What I like about the Leupold fields mean crystal clear and impressive eye relief. Nikon glass is good, but a Nikon and a Leupold together you understand what I mean. I paid $ 199 for Leupold Rifleman 3-9x40mm at Cabela's. The Leupold VX-1 costs about $ 200 - $ 219 The Leupold VX-2 will cost more, but IRy value of money, $ 300. I would like to tour, but Cabela's tend to be expensive. I was desperate for an application of better quality, then the center reached the point that in my .22-250.

I am not very familiar with areas such as technology or the Alps. So I can offer my contributions in the areas of application. I've only heard bad reviews in the areas Barska, he would avoid them. Both areas Bushnell and Simmons are decent areas. A cousin has a Simmons model mounted on a Remington 742 .308 is well done. A friend has a Bushnell evening and morning mood in the scope Remington 700 .220 Swift. He has also done well.

Whatever you do. Cut do not buy into corners, a weapon in your area. You really do get what you pay for.

Depends on what to do with the shooting. But it seems that its going on the road, with a 3X9 too. I have a Nikon 3X9 with a ball drop compensator that I paid for about $ 160,00. Or if you are a tactical possibilities for an application can Barska your needs. Ask OpticsPlanet.com online for some pretty good prices and wide selection of optical sights for almost everything. I also have a range Barska 10X40 tactical and I love the series for me.
